The crypto space has been filled with leaked documents and messages this week, with the US Crypto Bill being leaked prematurely and an anonymous user on twitter threatening to leak Telegram messages from big players in the crypto space. Both have been big topics of discussion, some calling into question the validity of these leaks and what is really the truth.
US Crypto Bill allegedly leaked
During the late hours of Monday, a set of documents with the ‘EMBARGOED’ watermark started doing the rounds on social media. Apparently, the 600+ page US Crypto Bill has been leaked. Sponsored by U.S. Senators Cynthia Lummis, Republican of Wyoming, and Kirsten Gillibrand, Democrat of New York, aims to install guide rails around the digital asset space.
Planned leak of 137GB of crypto scam related telegram messages
An anonymous Twitter user has announced that they’re planning to release 137GB of Telegram chats that, in his words, “will likely tear a rift in the entire crypto community.” They claim the platform suffered an exploit in October 2019 that allowed them to collect messages that were sent by a number of “targeted individuals” — crypto influencers among them
