Binance on Monday halted withdrawals of bitcoin for several hours after crypto lender Celsius also blocked customers from pulling funds from its platform, citing “extreme market conditions. We have no idea what the future fate of Celsius will be, nor the fate of its $25 billion that it allegedly holds in assets, but if the recent TerraUSD debacle is anything to go off of, the future does not look rosy for Celsius

Celsius Network, an interest-earning yield platform, has frozen withdrawals after using a myriad of failed DeFi strategies. Customers now fear they will never be able to access funds that are locked on Celsius while investors and employees have started to jump ship.

Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has recently released a 4000 word, 11-page culture document outlining Kraken’s “libertarian philosophical values” that includes prohibiting employees from calling speech “toxic, hateful, racist, x-phobic, unhelpful, etc.” & possibly incorporating firearm and self-defence training into corporate retreats.
